G'day aesir22 and all...

My OPINIONS...

I'm concerend about some of the advice here...

Such as..."...Sounds to me like overwatering..." when aesir22 had already said "...maybe i missed watering it for a short spell...". Sounds to me more like underwatering.

More advice "...then water. I heard a wise man once say 'wait until its dries out completely then water the day before that'". This sounds, to me, like toooo much drying out. The ficus is, after all, a tropical species. Do tropicals "...dry out almost completely..." in nature? I think not...

And...I trust that this bonsai is in a container? "...dry out almost completely..." in a container?

Again...my OPINIONS...use them if your like. Or not.

THE ONLY WAY: Always remember, and don't ever forget, that whatever you read here is not cast in concrete... the intent of any advice is to help. In no way should you feel that I’m saying that my way is the only way…heaven forbid! I've seen far too much of the "my way or the highway" attitude in bonsai as well as in other areas of life.
