Waltr is right. Let the little guys fill out and mature. Aim for the scalene triangle shape in the canopy so that they are a united image. You can add a few trees in time that have a more mature appearance. You can scalene triangulate them within the forest as your #1,2,3 trees. I have a great article bookmarked. I will look for it.

The edge i used was modling clay mixd with potting soil and sphagnum peat moss, it all seemed to work well and is still holding really nice, the slate was $0.40 a lb the slab was 50lb. I am going to let it grow out for a little bit, letting the root grow out, then i will trim them down and shap them in to a better scalene triangle shape, thank you for the article i have been reading up on anything i can get about it.
