I'm living in Tully Far north queensland (the wettest town in australia).

I too am trying out various australian natives however this place is too wet for the majority of the native australian trees that prefer dry climates. Those that thrive up here (with the exception of ficus) have huge leaves.

This place is perfect for aerial roots.

Was born in melbourne, grew up in tonga, moved all over australia for research purposes, settled at least for the moment in tully.

When I moved up here from my last post, brisbane, (thank god I got out of that smog trap) I ave away all my trees (about 90) and have started again.
