To reduce the leaf size:
- Make sure the tree is healthy (vigor with many new buds and green leaves)
- Bring it out to where it can get several hours of morning and evening sun light
- Remove all the big leaves. This process is also called defoliage.
- Well water but do not fertilize
You can repeat this technique six month later if the leaf size still not small enough.
