I used to have the same problem. I used a product called no pest strips, they work great. They kill just about anything. They are yellow strips and you can either hang them near or just lay them next to your trees. I used to use them for my snakes when they got mites but again I've had luck using them with my trees. I buy them at a local hardware store but you can also get them online, just do a keyword search of no pest strips. Hope this helps.
