Thanks EK, no it's a shimpaku. It's in really bad shape presently suffering with an over fertilization bout two years ago. Last year I managed to save it in it's old soil and this year I re potted it into special shohin soil from Japan. It seems to be really respnding well and is budding good. Hopefully I can shoot a good close up of the better tree I hope it to be later this year. In fact two years ago I nearly killed all of my shimpaku's. Dang Behr Appleby, I'll get even with him somehow!
