Hi Jonathan,

The tree looks good to me. Good nebari, good branch placement and good outline. Not so sure about the pot though, although having said that I am not sure what pot would actually suit. I don't think the branches need lowering much (if at all), perhaps just straightening out a couple of the more bent ones. Personally I think that with the trunk you have, straight branches that just fall below the horizontal would look great. There are a few twigs that look to be growing more or less straight upwards, these need attention. The straight parallel lower trunk I can live with because the top half of the tree looks so good.

BTW bear in mind that all this comes from someone who doesn't have a formal upright anywhere near as good as this one.

I am not sure what you mean by "implant". can you elaborate?
