The tree looks a little like a Valley Girl to me. Broomlike and twiggy. Maybe she'd be happier down on the plain in front of the stones.

A tree up in the high mountains there would need to be scraggly and bent, as if it were influenced by the wind and snow.

I also think the soil line should be brought down a bit to ease into the pot a little.

I added a couple of books on Saikei to the ***books***. You can browse your way over to Amazon.com from there and read some excerpts without laying down any green.
