Rock,
I have been pulling needles on JBP all day(today)- and breaking candles. In June/July we will cut the new candles and then pull needles to balance growth, I will cut needles in half to stimulate back budding on trees after digging from the field, but then always pull the needles on JBP that are in developmeny.
