So, here are the photos of what I did last Monday (day off work, right, something's got to give...)

This is a Chinese Elm I've had for a few years which I felt was never going to be anything special. I saw there was a smaller tree "inside" which was more attractive so I gave it "THE BIG CHOP".

You can see what I did in the photos attached.

Anyway - I would do almost exactly the same to your tree - except yours will look even nicer...it has nicer Nebari than mine.
