slow growing
When growing in ground trees & plants grow as follows.
1st year, it sleeps.
2nd year, it creeps.
3rd year, it leaps.
When in a pot with the roots restricted it is even SLOWER.
This is why its recomended that when growing specimens in the ground, you should grow them for 5 or more years.
