wind blown; or is it
As I wrote this thread and took the pictures, it was the middle of winter at its coldest (lol, winter in south Texas) and the winter winds, as we know usually blow from a northerly direction here in the Northern Hemisphere. Now that the tropical winds are blowing from the Gulf of Mexico it just goes to show you (and me) that this angle direction growing does work very well, it will even grow against the tropical winds that are blowing in the opposite direction that the tree is placed…Hmm, kind of funny the way you see the picture you would think the wind is blowing the tree in “the wind blown direction” not apposing it. Oh, BTW it has new growth and tiny flowers all over it.
