yeah i dont think Chinese Elms do have the sprouting shoot from the root area...
i think ficus can be prone to that.

weeds are a pain...no matter how much u pinch.....they still come out...... the growthrate of the weeds superseed the trees growth...which is dissapointing always..

has anyone tried those WEED sprays from bunnings or supermarket?....

the once a year Weed sprays....

sounds like a good idea......but i dont know how much of an effect it has on the tree and its soil.......im not game enough to try.............
