Some years better than others look for ants along with them . they attack the new candle as it starts to elongate must be like BBQ ribs to them.
Easy kill used to be Isotox now no ;longer sold i think , orthene is next best thing.
Malathion make them hungrier and they laugh and thank you for insecticidle soap and they ask for rice and beans if you spray them with pepper and garlic.

You da man Rock Chester, I was beginning to think I dreamed them up. Never had them before, but I bought 5 new JBP's from 4 different parts of the country so I don't really know where they came from. So, after the first three treatments are you through with them for this growing season ?
