SlapSlapSlappy

I've had my Japanese Maple for 1 summer now. Here in Phoenix the day temperatures can get up to 116 F, about 45 C. I only let it get sun until about 8 30, then its in shade for the rest of the day. In the beginning I made a mistake of keeping it in full sun, and the leaves burnt, but crumpled off eventually. I would let it do its own thing, unless you plan on showing it (like someone else said).
