I'm with Newt on the styling. If you continually clip back the upright growth, it will fill in and form a nice domed canopy much like a scheff.
Odd numbers are more aesthetically pleasing than even so at some point I would separate out one of those trunks. Keep them all for now in case one of them croaks.
