my thought on the jin is i like it, what it does need is to be shorter not as pointy.
the texture and grain is good but the white limed look spoils it. i would rather see it burnt and brushed then a diluted mix of lime and then to weather for at least a good 6 months.
has the potential to be very nice dead wood. francois jeker is a master of dead wood, his book is worth getting your hands on it if you can. bonsia today and focus have had articles on his dw.
