I'm a bit confused about the whole wound sealing thing. I'm a huge newb so I know nothing from experience which is always the best way to learn. But, I've heard you can use ton's of differn't things including mud and glue as well. Last year I used some sealent in a green tube w/ japanese writing, which looks gross and I can't get it off my trees.

I've also heard Walter Paul say you don't even need to use anything. Does it really matter that you seal wounds? What exactly does sealing wounds do?

Thanks
