Reducing graft scars

Got a nice black pine with nice branching and internode lengths.

Still growing and leader still present.

The only issue is the graft is unsightly, and there's reverse taper at the bottom.

Any advice on improving it while it is growing?

Thinking of some options:
1. Leave it alone and let it grow.
2. Trim part of the leftover parent trunk.
3. Attempt to air layer it in the future.
4. Wire the trunk at the reverse taper.

What do you guys think?
