Walter, your comments on this thread are the best tutorial on this subject that I have ever seen, by far. For the most part, I pick up little bits and pieces here and there and add, incrementally, to my understanding of Bonsai. These comments have brought about a "paradigm shift" for me, as I imagine they have for some others.

I, frankly, think that you owe the world a book, with illustrations and some treatment of related subjects of a practical nature. It would be a great loss for the Bonsai Community if you do not publish some sort of definitive book that makes available your thoughts and understanding of Bonsai. Your English is better than most of us that speak it as a native language, and a decent editor or translator would certainly resolve any issues in that area.

I remember the impact that John Naka's "Bonsai Techniques" had on me. Wow! I CAN do this. I think a book by you would have similar impact. Wow! Bonsai is SO NEAT!
