G'day Amanning...

One of the best things you can do is to hook up with a local bonsai club, then connect with one or more people experienced in growing bonsai in your geographical area...

Local Bonsai club and people experienced growing bonsai in your geographical area - this is where you can find the best advice available for you. You can get local advice on soil mixes, repoting, watering...and much, much more.

Keep asking questions on bonsaiTALK...we'll do what we can to help you.

Always remember, bonsai is a trip that requires time and patience...welcome aboard and enjoy the journey...

Pat

THE ONLY WAY: Always remember, and don't ever forget, that whatever you read here is not cast in concrete... the intent of any advice is to help. In no way should you feel that I’m saying that my way is the only way…heaven forbid! I've seen far too much of the "my way or the highway" attitude in bonsai as well as in other areas of life.
