I don't have a picture of my first bonsai (Acer palmatum) I lost it last summer in our heat wave. It would dry out completely before I could get home and water it again. I even had it sitting in a dish of water and that would be bone dry by the time I got home and yes I drenched it every morning before work and had it in the shade =/

This year I will be starting with a larger plant with more water retentive soil mix to try and get it to grow.

But For now I have a barbados cherry growing under some grow lights. I'm hoping I can get a pic of that one soon.
