I have been very fortunate to interact with a number of very talented bonsai professionals. Mike is part of the extended Boon Family and I am very pleased to be able to contract his services. I certainly don't have the means to be a "patron" but I hope that we are able to maintain a long and fruitful relationship. One of the things that I have learned from both Kathy S and Boon is that we have to work to provide opportunities for these highly talented people when they return from Japan (or elsewhere, China, etc) or come to the US. They need to work and they can only make Bonsai better in the US through their work. Just a bit of philosophy. John
