Maybe some info on the originating nursery might help. If these growing conditions are anything like your place it might work. Monrovia Nursery is in a suburb of L. A., California at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. It never snows there but it occasionally freezes. The summers can hit 103 and dry. The nursery is right in the path of the dessicating Santa Ana winds too. Hope this helps.
