Howdy y'all
I have this product called Tree & Shrub Control from Bayer. It is a pesticide that you pour into the soil and the tree takes into its system to help fight, prevent and eliminate pests(it lists many it controls). For trees(big 'uns) use 1 ounce for every inch away from the trunk. Now bein that none of mine are "life size" I thinking dropping the amount down to 1/4 ounce or less. I have used this already on my Ficus's(some are just plain houseplants and others are small enough to begin as bonsai) and have seen wonderful results in eliminating scale and leaf curlers(these at least fold the leaves like a taco so I may be saying the wrong pest). I am wanting to know if this type of product is safe for the following trees: jap maples, american hornbeam, jrp, jbp, monterey cypress, stone pine, drake lacebark elms, arizona cypress, weeping willow, coast redwood, dawn redwood, bald cypress, shimpaku juniper, nana juniper, squamata juniper, sargentii juniper, jedeloh hemlock, monterey pine, ginkgo, american elm, american beech, eastern pine, eastern cedar, deodar cedar, red oak, english oak(I think thats it LOL). I have not applied this to any of the above. Any help, advice, tips, directions would be greatly appreciated
And yes I know I have alot but it gives me alot to play with and options for later down the road. I know some might be good material and some may never be good material. But at least I'm having fun and learning.
