Thanks Greg. I left several of the best trees I found in place, hoping to collect again in the spring. The site available was not open last spring due to heavy snow, and roads unpassable until June. Lots of snow again this year, so spring collecting may be out again. If so, at least I'll know if my fall-collected trees have a good survival rate before I try again.
