elm leaf yellow and brown

ELM TREE

hay there i think it may be a australian thing ,
1/why becouse my tree last year went all yellow and brown looked like it was going to die ,there was a bug on it this year and samt thing happen
2/ we have very hot winds hear 30 deg to 40 degs at times
3 I am thing it must be a time of year thing the elms i have with full sun,and protected from winds did get some yellow leafs but are going well now ,no die back
4/ the other trees elms had a bug and went yellow and brown, looked like die back on 3 bottom branches change of colour in branch , looked dead , I think this was the bugs but , i think the yellow leafs and brown leafs are a wind thing where most trees get brown yellow tips on leafs i think the elms take it harder and go yellow, brown all over, I was thing it was a defect in the trees , but i looked at my records off last year and the some thing happen to the elm tree last year some time, may be a defect , may be the bugs , but i think its the wind the hot dry winds we get hear, If any 1 know difrent plz let me know , hold in there i think it will come back , if there are not to many leafs i would say keaps you eyes out at watering time , you dont want root rot , what say u all ?i would say dont cut back tree yet , time is a friend to your tree , and hast can hurt your tree more then heat, bugs and some on, but spray the tree for bugs if need be , I think it will come back :}

I am jack of all trades and a master off nun
