As noted, this phase passes. It passes more quickly if the trees you're moving inside are large and weigh 25 lbs or more. Having more than one tree also helps take the spotlight off of a single "masterpiece" tree.

No. One day or two days every FEW months (and that's pushing things) is probably the limit. You cannot "acclimate" the tree with more frequent trips indoors. It cannot adapt to such treatment. It is not an animal. It is a plant. Plants like to have their environment REMAIN CONSTANT ALL THE TIME. They cannot move and constant reacclimization stresses them out--especially the drastic differences between indoors and outdoors.
