People keep trying to bring junipers indoors. Even with a split schedule like you are suggesting, the tree will probably die a very slow, gradual death, so slowly that you won't even know it is dying until it is dead as a doornail. Junipers stay green until after they are dead many times. It isn't the beautiful vibrant green but green enough to fool you. Please, if you love your juniper, put it outside and leave it there....in the sun.

If you plan to entertain and would like to use it for decoration for one night, fine. But then, back outside. Even the trees that are supposed to be ok for indoor bonsai, don't really like it and are harder to keep happy than if they were outdoors. It wasn't meant to be.
