Hey TB,
Thanks for the kudos. Glad you like them. Yes, the first elm was cut back years ago and the resulting scar was flat and rotted down, causing me to have to hollow the trunk. The big scar feature you see is a hollow that extends to an opening on the right side, just above the #1 branch.
