I've seen several types of Ficus/figs over the years (ok decades) and they all will "flower" at sometime or another. It seams like the thicker leaves throw "figs" more often. Mine have "figs" now in the middle of winter (
sorry had to throw that in zone 9 you know). Several years ago I remember that they would never ripen. I recall someone ( Taiwanese or Chinese ) at an IBC/BCI convention telling me that they needed a certain type of wasp to pollinate it as he was chuckling about it, We both got a laugh outta it when he said that years ago, when we started importing these, we forgot to import the wasp too!
