Modified Ground Layer
I was wondering if a modified ground layer will work .... Rather than wrapping the trunk w/wire above the existing roots, could I wrap individual thick roots that have very few feeder roots up near the soil line? These are trees that are in the ground and were planted as landscape trees, not with bonsai in mind. I didn't know if I would get new feeder roots or if some other unwrapped root would just thicken up to take the place of the other. Vic
