Gday Peter, Marc & Co!

With all due respect Marc, I beg to differ - I believe the placement of the trees is very close to spot-on. The work that Peter has done arranging these trees - especially the back tree - has yielded great results, both in terms of the creation of depth and 'symmetry of design'*.

I would love to see this planting in a much wider, shallow pot - so I went ahead and did a quick & nasty virt. I know this pot (a squashed, stretched Pat Kennedy pot from my tiny collection) is not entirely suitable, but I hope it conveys some sense of what I mean.

Great work Peter!

Thanks.

Fly.

* I'm uncertain whether 'symmetry of design' is the right term. Perhaps 'symmetry of purpose'? Anyway, what I mean is the way in which the shapes of the large, foreground trunk/tree are echoed in diminishing scale as the landscape recedes. Sorry for the babble.
