Sure, we've got the best yamadori. But it is one thing, having to obtain all the permissions, taking days off work (don't have too many of those), and going yamadori hunting in the mountains, where if you are lucky, you end up finding one or two good ones, but often, nothing. Not to mention the hazards that come with such an activity, such as getting lost, getting injured or killed, getting bitten by rattlesnakes and scorpions, getting mauled/killed by a cougar or bear, getting assaulted by members of a right-wing survivalist colony, or getting your car stolen in a remote vally when nobody can find you, etc (I actually have quite a few of the above on my checklist, from the past).
It is another thing sitting in your home and ordering a few of these great nursery-grown material whenever you wish, with a click of a button or a phone call. I think I'd prefer the latter, although I love to get out in the wild as often as I can.
