Do you sift at all? I went to a bonsai demonstration a while ago and the people there were saying they never sift and they excelent, healthy trees. But all over the internet all i hear about is sifting everything. The soil i buy is bonsai soil already mixed from a good bonsai nursery and it is already sifted.

I have a few young eaucalypts and an angophora. I have read Fly's threads many trimes aswell. I think bonsai with australian natives are great and i wish to head into that direction in the future. At the moment i have a few natives but quiet a broad spectrum of species that are not native.
