Nice little tree! But one thing you want to address: if the pics show it accurately, then you've already got a bit of reverse traper where the branches begin.
Not much you can do to remove that, but the tree may grow out of it. You don't want it to get worse. The way to do that is make sure there are no more than 2 leads (branches, or branch and trunk) coming from any one join. I think you'll have to decide which branches you want to remove, and do it soon.
