Hello everyone,

I have a sick looking juniper which is planted in akadma. I would like to lift the tree from its pot to check for root rot. The akadma seems really loose and i'm scared to lift the tree in fear that the soil may break up and be difficult to put back in the pot. Is this common for akadma soil?

If i do have root rot, would it be safe to re-pot my tree at this time of year?

I live in southern Louisiana and the weather goes from cold to hot this time of year.
