Here's the pics I promised.
Two are of the place I'm thinking of placing the bonsai. As you can see, it will get some direct sunlight for a good portion of the morning. The other is just to show the size of the garage, it's a 3-car one.
Victrina, what makes you say that any concern has gone away? Was there something I said?
Oh, I made a small boo-boo. I placed a small shallow plate with water, but the little feet of the bonsai container slipped and the sucker soaked up water. It's pretty wet now. I put it on a towel and I'm going to let it dry, I hope it's not going to do much damage.
