i have a chinese elm which i keep in my bed room, ive had it for about 3 weeks now and it has already started growing new leaves and at the same time shedding them. is this normal? also it is having growth spurts and needs cutting but the pack ive got says to cut it in spring, should i cut it now even though its autumn (and my bonsai decideds its spring)?
