There is a little pine tree in the ground behind the house, I might just have to try and style it into a literati, while it's still in the ground. This will pretty much be my first attempt at literati too. If I get a "round-tuit" I'll take and post pics.
BTW: Just FYI, one of the things that makes literati a more difficult subject matter is the prerquisit of no less than four beers, (traditionally six cups of sake) and no more than you can drink and maintain proper binocular vision (without the aid of placing one hand over one eye),...not during styling, but prior to initial work, but after the power tools are placed safely away from the trees, and artists. Once styling has begun, one can traditionally exceed the limit of alcohol, to such an extent as needing to keep both feet firmly on level terrain, due to concerns involving involuntary "falling over sideways".
