When you speak about needles? i presume they are Junipers or other sorts of pine. They should be outside all the time, as far as watering every day !! That is waaaaaay to much water, i think you have got root rot, but we need a pic. of them so we can see what you have, before you will get an answer.
Once we find out what they are, the next thing would be to have a look at the roots, brown and soggy too late. Cheers.
