It looks more like Zelkova Serrata. Highly serrated leaves and red twigs are a give away for Zelkova. This is a great species for bonsai and not that easy to come by. Chinese Elm does not have the red twigs (that I remember) or leaves so prominently serrated. Zelkova is sometime called Grey Barked Chinese Elm. It is a member of the Ulmus family.
