I was there only on Saturday morning. There were lots of trees but, I thought, fewer really good trees compared to some previous shows.

I thought some displays had entirely too many trees, and appeared crowded and cluttered. I tend to favor display in the tradition of the Kokufu exhibition, where an eight foot space might have 2 or three trees, depending on size.

The tokonoma display from the guys in Florence was quite ambitious and well executed!

The very large Seiju elm that apparently won was striking and very good.

The space for the vendors was a nice improvement. I hope the distance from the main show didn't cut down on the casual foot traffic and sales.
