I have done many cuttings of the Cape Honeysuckle, they are too easy. This tree/shrub is considered a pest in California I am told.
I have several large ones at the store and have potted and styled several for customers. They do make great bonsai and like to be on the damp side but recover if let dry for a short period. They can be pruned hard and they will bounce back fast.
A fun specie to play with because of the fast response time.
