Rocky Mountain collecting #2

Last week was my first rocky mountain collecting trip.....

http://forum.bonsaitalk.com/f61/my-...trip-25581.html

Today was my second collecting trip - same site. Here are some of the trees. Most are lodgepole (one limber pine). I found one, lonely rocky moutain juniper today too, but alas, it was uncollectable. So far I've collected 16 trees - 14 lodgepole, and two limber pine. I scouted out another 10 or 12 trees for spring.

I left the best of the trees I found in place. I want to make sure I understand lodgepole pine before I collect the best specimens. I want to see how successful I am with these first, and save the best for spring collecting. Perhaps I can persuade one of the more experienced locals to go with me when I collect the best trees.
