Mike,
Just reading the first paragraph on the home page leads me to believe that the information at thebonsaischool is untrustworthy.

Hello and welcome; My name is Michael Salas I was one day reaserching on the internet and found most the information was just down wrong. So I thought of a way to help beginners to get some concrete information. So I made the site. After training a while with roy nagatoshi a bonsai master in sylmar california I started the site. The info on the site is absolutely free . But I must warn you beginners like you are very tempted to start fast. Plese read all the site and I assure you. Youll thrive with my site. If youve already started just take a look at what you know and what I know and make sure you have everything straight. If you have any question email me at thebonsaischool@zoomshare.com

All grammar and spelling mistakes are straight from the page. I'd be careful about quoting them.
