I'm honestly not sure of the variety. I asked at the nursery when it was purchased...the thought was that it may be a prostrata, but that wasn't conclusive. I can tell you that it only grows needles...no scale foliage at all..., the new foliage has a nice blue color, and it seems to be a very vigorous grower.
