Well I just have to say that reading all this about hanging plastic makes my wife and I laugh. We cover 2 48'x20' shade houses each year and now my wife who is a good sport can laugh at the things that have happened, she didn't the first couple of years. I told her about this thread and she said the the most important thing to remember is that it is NOT a one man job. That being said we do it ourselves and many times wish we had more help. I wait till the last moment to put up the plastic. It is not because I am lazy but I don't want it up too soon or the houses can get too warm on those days it warms up. So sometimes we don't have any choice but to put it up on windy days. Another helpful hint is to use the wind. Here we can get enough wind that it will blow it over the house, but make sure you don't let go of the plastic.

I will get some pictures of how we do it sometime today and post them.

My advice is if you have a short temper (like me) then make sure your helper is very understanding. Many a time Carolyn has threatened to go in the house and let me do it myself.
