Question Chinese Elm has Yellow Leaves....

l purchased a Chinese Elm online. It took the tree 6 days to get here. The Chinese Elm came from California. The soil was moist and it had a platic bag wrapped around it's pot to keep it moist.

Here's the problem..when I undid the plastic bag..it was growing some white fuzz because of the moisture. The tree actually does have live moss on top of the soil.

The tree had some yellow leaves just a few then and I was thinking it was due to all the moisture. My room is about 80 degrees. The tree is by the window where it does get some sun/shade.

The leaves however are still turning yellow. I'm not sure what is going on?! The Chinese Elm still has moist soil. It looks healthy. The trip could of been stressful.

But the tree had not one branch broken during the shipment. The nursery did very well at shipping.

I am not sure if the leaves are going yellow because of the moisture problem, but I read the Chinese Elm goes into dormacy...could it be doing that? Or is that to soon?

Some trees here outside are already getting yellow leaves because they are changing into season.

It seems that the very top of the tree is suffering the most with yellow leaves.

Here is the tree-
