Glad to hear about it being able to possibly recover. It is inside by a southern window. I have had it about a year and water every couple weeks or so. I have not fed it regularly but I did feed it this last weekend when I watered. Maybe I fed it too much? thats when I started noticing the leaves dropping. as far as what happens the the curled leaves not sure, I will watch them close and see.
